His thoughts were interrupted by a door in the corner opening and metal boots clomping through the frame into the throne room. Though he would admit it to no one, he desperately wanted a dragon to command and ride into battle. He had no dragon with which to win battles. He commanded battles, had earned the respect of older men who commended him on his strategic planning. He planned his own campaign for Valyria even while he helped Aegon secure Westeros. His brother had promised to help him when he was done with his conflicts in Westeros and Aegyr had been patient. He wanted to reunite much of Essos into a new Valyrian Empire and he hoped to start by colonizing Old Valyria itself. He wanted to do what his brother refused to do. After a second his thoughts drifted back to the throne. He smiled to himself and in a low voice, a bit redundant that. I'll be starting with AGoT 1.1 and the newest version of Colonize Valyria. My AAR is an alternate universe type thing. I've done quite a few AARs in a more educational format, as a scholar writing history, but never anything in a narrative sense. This will be my first AAR done in a story format.
